AEK had a victorious premiere in this year’s competitions in its European obligations this year.

The Black and Yellows beat Hurry Up 35-30 for the second round of the EHF European Cup and took a big step towards qualifying for the next stage after going into next week’s second leg with a five-goal lead.

AEK found themselves behind on the scoreboard in the first half, with the Dutch having a one-two goal lead. After the half-time, the “yellow and black” turned up the pace and took control of the score, opening the gap until the final.
