Opinion – Walter Casagrande Jr.: The criminal ex-player and the despicable ex-driver

The coup acts have made the last few days a difficult week, with pathetic but also sad scenes. The only advantage was to see the mask of many people falling and exposing who is who in this game.

They didn’t care about children or the elderly, who were trapped for hours, without water and without food.

Zero worry. No empathy for sick people, including a lady who missed her medical exam for cancer, which is usually scheduled far in advance. But for these people, it all comes down to “so what?”.

In this scenario of horrors, it is worth highlighting two nefarious characters of our sport.

Starting with the fugitive sentenced to nine years in prison by the Italian Justice, for rape. Of course I’m talking about the criminal Robinho.

This one is already used to giving blows, because he is already giving one in the Justice of Italy.

A cowardly, unscrupulous being who has the nerve to walk along the beach smiling, as if nothing had happened. And he still gives himself the right to participate in anti-democratic demonstrations.

It’s obvious that this one is already rooting for the coup to happen, just to escape from prison. Despite Brazil having denied his extradition, which is the law, the Italian Justice will ask him to serve his sentence here.

He must be resorting to the same Christ (which is not even Jesus who was crucified, because he doesn’t lie, doesn’t commit crimes and doesn’t give blows) of these people to help him not pay for the crime he committed.

This former player shows all his bad character, neglect and disrespect for all women, especially victims of sexual and moral abuse.

The rapist has to serve his sentence, and I have no doubt that he will. This is the main reason for his support for Jair Bolsonaro, reinforced by his encouragement of a coup d’état. It’s his only way out.

Another sportsman is already a figure known for his arrogance and arrogance. I’m talking about Nelson Piquet, who, with this attitude, only reinforces how normal he considered his son’s dishonesty in Formula 1, when Nelsinho gave a blow to the tracks, which culminated in his expulsion from the circuit.

They are two figures that disgust Brazilian sport.

On the other hand, we have Ayrton Senna and Ronaldo Fenômeno, not to mention Pelé, whom the world reveres, Sócrates, Tostão, Isabel, Guga, in short, a large majority of former sportsmen who left their mark in history in an honorable way.

The case of Nelson Piquet is much more serious, for having brought to light a speech that must be rigorously investigated: he said that the place of President Lula, who won the elections democratically, in the vote, is “in the cemetery”.

And it’s no use the despicable Piquet saying that he used his freedom of expression, because threats to a president are not part of any citizen’s right.

Saying that someone, especially a president, deserves to be in the cemetery, is not, never was and never will be freedom of expression, but a very serious and threatening coup speech.

Blockades are over, but investigations into these undemocratic acts are just beginning. It’s high time this group understood that the business of shelving complaints and enacting century-old secrecy, in Jair’s fashion, is over.
