The former player and idol of Argentina, Sergio Agüero, recorded an unusual situation. While traveling to Qatar for the World Cup, he found a group of Brazilian fans celebrating and warming up the atmosphere for the competition.
On social networks, he spoke of the party: “The whole trip was like this”, he wrote in the video, in which he puts one of his hands on his head, in addition to grimaces of discomfort.
Having not played professionally since last year after discovering a heart problem, Agüero, 34, is traveling as part of Argentina’s delegation to the tournament. He participated in three World Cups (2010, 2014 and 2018) with the group, in addition to winning the Copa América (2021). The former striker dreamed of winning the Cup.
Argentina debuts in Qatar next Tuesday (22), at 7 am (Brasília time), against Saudi Arabia. Mexico and Poland close Crupo C.
