England’s thrashing and a tight match for the Netherlands; see statistics and summary of this Monday (21)

The selections from groups A and B entered the field at the World Cup in Qatar this Monday (21). In group A, the Netherlands beat Senegal in a tight dispute, while in group B, the highlight was the 6 2 that England applied in Iran.

This was the second day of the group stage dispute, which runs until December 2. It was not an easy victory for Holland, who scored 2-0 against Senegal. The result was decided after 40 minutes of the second half, with goals from Gakpo and Klaassen. The African formation managed to hold the rivals under control during almost the entire confrontation (see below).

Group B

The England team dominated the match and thrashed Iran by 6 to 2. The first dispute of the day was marked by protests on both sides. The English players took a knee on the field against racism, while the Iranian team did not sing the national anthem in a show of support for the protesters in their territory.

USA vs Wales

The last game of the day resulted in a draw at the end of the second half with a goal by Gareth Bale, from Wales. The United States entered the game better prepared, and soon Tim Weah made the first for the Americans.
