With the organization of a special anniversary event, where the Organization’s new logo will be presented, the Olympic Sports Center of Athens “Spyros Louis” “celebrates” the completion of 40 years since its opening. The event will take place next Thursday (24/11, 16:00), in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, the administration of the OAKA, as well as athletes and persons who have connected their history with the 40-year history of the Olympic Complex and have contributed to Greek sports.
As pointed out in the relevant announcement, the new logo that will be presented on Thursday “… symbolizes the role that “OAKA 2.0″ is called to play in the modern era, the vision and the actions for the holistic upgrade of the facilities and the transformation of Olympiakos Center in Olympic Park of Athens. In the last three years, the management and employees of the O.A.K.A., with the support of the Deputy Minister of Sports and with an extroverted orientation, redefined the role of the Organization. With the support and promotion of sports and Greece as its central axis, the Olympic Stadium, which is being modernized every day, hosted international sporting and cultural events, opened its doors to Greek society and is now a landmark of Athens. It is characteristic that, in relation to 2018, the increase in events and events exceeded 70%, which also implies significant income for the Organization”.
