The defeat of the Belgian team by 2-0 to Morocco, by Group F of the World Cup in Qatar, in Doha, ended in confusion in the streets of Brussels, capital of Belgium, this Sunday (27).
According to the Belgian portal RTBF, around 150 fans set fire to garbage cans, urban equipment and damaged several vehicles. The police were called and there was a confrontation, with fans throwing stones and the police retaliating with tear gas.
The confusion would have started after the first goal annulled by Morocco, in the first half.
The game valid for the second round of Group F brought together fans in the streets of Brussels, with several immigrants with Moroccan flags, according to the portal.
With the clashes, several streets in the central region were closed. There is no information on injuries or arrests.
