Giannis Antetonkoumbo and Anna Doutounaki are the top athletes in the annual PSAT vote for 2021, as announced on Thursday by the Association of Sports Authors.
The “Greek Freak” won the NBA championship with the Bucks, the first after fifty years for the “deer”, while the swimming champion became the first Greek woman to win a gold medal in a European championship, namely in the 100-meter butterfly in 50ara pool with a new national record.
The top team was the European men’s handball cup winner, AEK, and the top coach was Thodoris Vlachos of the “silver” Olympionikos, National men’s polo team.
The award ceremony of the best will take place at the Athens Concert Hall (“Banquet” Hall) on Wednesday, December 22 at 17:30.
