Coach Tite has already used all 26 players called up for the World Cup in the four matches that the selection has played so far in Qatar. This Monday (5) the last one, goalkeeper Weverton, entered the 35th minute of the second half of the 4-1 victory over South Korea.
“It’s a reason to thank God for everything, for being able to have a few minutes on the field. It wasn’t agreed at all, things just happened. With the first half we played, the teacher saw that it was time. I feel this emotion of wearing the shirt of the national team in a World Cup.”
The Palmeiras goalkeeper also said that, among the players, one hopes for the success of the other in the national team.
“In addition to being professionals who respect each other, we love each other a lot off the field. We spend a lot of time together, we have this feeling of brotherhood. Alisson is happy for me and I am happy for him. A family is forming and with results within field, what matters most.”
