Rebecca Latham continues her journey in this year’s Women’s Volleyball League. Markopoulos announced on Wednesday the acquisition of the American diagonal, who was released a few hours ago by Thetida Voulas.
The 25-year-old ace agreed with the Mediterranean club for the rest of this season.

“The Markopoulos Sports Club welcomes Rebecca Latham to the women’s Volley League team. The 25-year-old (1997) from the USA has a height of 1.91 and comes from the University of Denver. Last season she competed in South Korea with Hwaseong IBK Altos, while in 2020 she made her debut in the Italian Serie B with the jersey of Futura Volley Giovani Busto Arsizio.
In her first statements as an athlete of AO Markopoulos Revoil, Becca stated the following: “I am excited and very happy for the opportunity given to me. I’ve only heard good things about Markopoulos here and I’m excited to join the team. I look forward to helping the team reach their goals and I believe that with hard training, morale and teamwork, we can do it.
I want to improve and learn from my new team, my teammates and coaches. I can’t wait to get started and already from my experience so far, I’ve seen how important the influence of the club is for all gymnasts.”
