PAOK returned to winning ways and prevailed 3-0 set of Go Polichnis for the tenth matchday of the Men’s Volleyball League.
After the defeat of two defeats by Panathinaikos and one by Olympiakos, the “double-header of the North” broke out in the Polichni team and climbed to 24 points, three behind the “red and whites”.
The first scorer for PAOK was Van de Dries with 17, followed by Raptis with 14, while for Pegasus, Milis stood out with 14.
In the first set, PAOK was in control, but Pegasus didn’t let them get away. The guests gradually built the difference up to +4 (13-17) and finished the set with 25-17.
The second set started evenly. The two teams reached 9-9 together, but from there on, PAOK reached +3 (10-13) and with a new streak made it 18-11. Pegasus counterattacked and reduced to 22-18, but the “two-headed of the North” made the 2-0 set 25-20.
PAOK continued with goals in the third set and they kept the difference throughout and ended the game with 25-18.
