The former Barcelona footballer, among others, has been behind bars for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old girl in a Barcelona nightclub and will remain there until trial, without the right to be released through warranty.
According to what the Spanish “La Vanguardia” reports, the 39-year-old Brazilian was very distant on his first night and did not exchange a conversation with anyone. In fact, he didn’t even use the phone call he was entitled to make, as he didn’t remember the phone number of a relative or friend, while he was in a state of shock, due to the rapid developments of his case in the last hours.
