Serious complaints from PAOK about refereeing in the match with Doukas

by

The PAOK men’s handball team has serious complaints with the refereeing of the match against Doukas, as it considers that the whistles of the referees in the match deprived it of qualifying for the Final 4.

For this reason, the group administrator, Dimitris Hasekidiswith his personal statement, it was mentioned that there is no respect for the “black and white”, while he wondered why VAR was not used in certain phases.

In detail what he said:

“As is known throughout Greece, PAOK handball never makes statements against the referee, no matter how bad it is towards him. But yesterday, in such a decisive game for the institution of the Cup, one of the two goals of our team, we saw a very bad refereeing at critical points, to the detriment of our team. Our discomfort is great, but this match is over and the Duke has qualified.

From here on, however, the specific referees of the match, as well as all referees and observers, must respect PAOK, as the biggest supporter of handball in Greece, for many years. Especially with the now existence of VAR in all games, for which PAOK pioneered in Greek sports, obvious refereeing errors are not justified. Why gentlemen in decisive phases did not use the help of VAR as you should?. We want to believe that in the next crucial matches of our Club, the refereeing will be much better. First of all about the sport.

PS Message to specific recipients: PAOK Management and the entire organization will not allow extra-competitive factors to deprive our team of what it is entitled to on the field from now on.”
