The Celtics took the derby with the Lakers to overtime, despite LeBron’s “41”

by

Macara happened early in the morning in Boston, where the Celtics managed to beat the Lakers 125-121.

The big star for the “greens” was Jaylen Brown, who made it 105-105 with an indirect three-pointer in the 4th minute and sent the game to overtime, as LeBron James missed in the last phase.

Very important were the shots that Brogdon hit and made it 123-118 with 11 seconds left and basically sealed the victory for Joe Mazzula’s team.

The first scorer for the Celtics was Jaylen Brown with 37 points (he also had 9 rebounds), while Tatum had a “double” with 30 points with 11 rebounds. Brogdon had 26 (with 6 rebounds).

LeBron James, on the other hand, took another step to become the leading scorer in NBA history, having 41 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists in this game, while Davis had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
