THE KAE Panathinaikos announces its acquisition Dimitris Agravanis for the next 2.5 years.
Dimitris Agravanis was born on December 20, 1994 in Maroussi, it has a height of 2.08m. and competes in the positions “4” and “5”.
He took his first basketball steps in his infrastructure departments G.S. Amarousiou, where he also signed his maiden professional contract. With the team of Amarousiou, he competed in the A1 championship during the seasons 2010-11 and 2011-12. The following year (2012-13) found him in Panionio with whose shirt he won 3rd place in the championship.

The following season (2020-2021) in 39 games he had 13 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists on average in 26.5 minutes of participation, while at the beginning of the year he also won the Super Cup with the Patras team. In his last year with Prometheus (2021-2022) he had 13 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals an average of 47 games in all competitions.
Started this season (2022-2023) in Italy with her shirt Napleswhere in 5 matches of the domestic championship he had 8.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1 assist on average in 23 minutes of participation. “I want to thank Panathinaikos from the bottom of my heart for great opportunity which gives me to return to Euroleague. I know all too well what this means for my life and career. The years go by and through many situations and from a lot of mistakes which you may have done you learn and you are maturing as an athlete but also as a person. I absolutely am conscious.
I also know that some friends in my group will have second thoughts and here I want to make it clear that I am a person who I am passionate incredibly when I’m racing. My blood it boils and i’m ready to “die” on the floor and so I will do for him Panathinaikos.
I will prove to everyone that I will leave every ounce of strength and sweat onto the floor so I can put one on rock and for Panathinaikos to achieve its goals. I really am proud where I will wear the Club’s jersey”.
