The Hellenic Philatelic Federation of Table Tennis issued today 01/02 the program of the General Secretariat of Sports Coaches School of the 3rd level.
The director of the School, Michalis Katsikadelis, MSc, Ph.D. of Physical Education and A’ Category coach of the sport, prepared and announced to the total of 91 entrants the program of teaching subjects.
The School is based in Athens and starts on Monday 02/13/23. The courses will be held with modern distance teaching and will have participation from many regions of the country, as from the first moment the strong interest of people in the sport was evident. In the briefing for tomorrow’s coaches, the director of the School emphasizes that “the best possible effort will be made by all the teachers, the Management Committee as well as myself so that the school meets your expectations and is useful in your work” .
The courses are scheduled to last until 17/07/2023 and already from the first ten days they include four online meetings. In the general 180 hours of teaching, the following fields will be taught by experts: Sports Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Sports Psychology, Physiology (which will also be in the first course), Scientific Research Methodology, Special Training, Anti-Doping, Child Protection Framework, Technical Analysis, Organization & Management of Sports, Motor Learning, Industrial, Anatomy, Ethics and Integrity in Sports, Teaching Methodology and Sports Pedagogy.
After the detailed reference to the days, hours and lessons, there are also the following notes for the students:
– The 120-hour practical subjects are scheduled for Fridays-Saturdays-Sundays in June – July. A separate program will follow.
– The month of September will be used for any items that were postponed or could not be carried out until July
– There will be no teaching subjects in August.
