THE Julian Nagelsmann appears to have credited Tapalovic with locker-room leaks, while at the same time appearing to have requested the hiring of his former partner in the Hoffenheim, Michael Rechner. The German press emphasizes that this decision has already caused tremors within the team due to the excellent relationship that the now former goalkeeper coach had with all the football players.

“It was very heavy and sudden for both me and Tony, it really took us all by surprise. For us he was like a team player, that’s how we all treated him, he was there whenever the goalkeepers, the other players, one of the coaching staff or anyone from the club needed him. It didn’t just work for me for those eleven and a half years but for everyone in the team. It was a very heavy blow for me, it broke my heart, it’s one of the craziest things I’ve experienced in my career and I’ve been through a lot. Everyone in the goalkeeping team “broke down” and started crying. For me there was no reason, a lot is heard which I do not adopt. I hadn’t heard any fights.”

At the end of the interview, he emphasized about the team and the future:
“It is a great disappointment, in this particular case you are dealing with a person, with an employee. In Bayern Munich we want to be different, a family and then this happens, it’s something that has never happened to me before. This is a shame for the club, for him Tapalovic, for the coaches, for the goalkeepers, for me.
