Thomason: “Two months ago Prometheus was not a serious team”

by

Signs of progress have been shown by Prometheus lately, as stated by Joe Thomason after winning (90-66) on Slask.

In fact, the American emphasized that two months ago the Patras team was not… serious and how now everything has changed for the better from the image on the floor to even the locker room.

What Joe Thomason said in detail:

Defense is what gives titles. You can score as many points as you want, but if you don’t stop the opponent, then it will just be a high scoring match. Anyone can beat anyone. I’m looking forward to the next match. Honestly, I’m trying to help get as many wins as possible in the Eurocup and show how useful I am to myself and my team. But, I feel really good.

Two months ago we weren’t a serious basketball team. No one was talking about us and people didn’t believe us. Now, we’re getting some wins together. Of course, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. At the moment I like the energy we have and the situation in the dressing room. We are all together from the coaches to the last player on the bench. We finally believe in something that matters.”
