The scenario of changing the roof in the coming years is being considered very seriously by Paris Saint Germain. As revealed by L’equipe the leaders of the French club have already hired two private companies, in order, on the one hand, to find the area and on the other hand to examine all the prospects of building the new stadium.
In particular, the French champions have hired the American company Legends which has previously worked in Europe both with Tottenham Hotspur for the construction of their new headquarters, and with Real Madrid for the reconstruction of the Santiago Bernabeu. At the same time, they have started cooperation with the international group Colliers who is expected to focus on the search for a new location that will have the potential to house Paris’ new home.
It is recalled that Paris Saint Germain and Municipality of Paris they discussed for months the possibility of its acquisition “Parc Des Princes”, with the negotiations however having recently “frozen” for good. The plans of the Qatari owners involved a major renovation of the existing stadium and expansion of its capacity to at least 60,000 seats.
