Incorrigible Mavericks and Lakers, “train” the Nuggets

Jaylen Brunson with 40 points and newly acquired Josh Hart with another 27 led the Nics in a 124-106 victory over the Nets in the local derby, for the first time in three years. Spencer Dinwiddie had 28 for Brooklyn, which has been in a slump since the departures of Irving and Durant.

The Warriors prevailed 135-126 of the Wizards with 29 points from Andrew Wiggins and 27 from Klay Thompson, with the champions – without the injured Steph Curry – struggling to climb out of ninth place in the West (28-28).
