From the forces restoring order, which were taking measures on the field, the use of the necessary means was carried out outside the field, aiming to release the static forces and to de-escalate the situation and prevent new attacks.

It is noted that the match in question took place at the specific stadium at the initiative of the home team, although the Greek Police had requested that it be held at O.A.K.A., due to the small capacity of the aforementioned stadium and the expected large attendance of fans , while at the same time 17.45 was set as the time for the doors to open and the fans to enter, although the home team had suggested 18.00.
