She starts with a rather unpleasant news for her fans Newcastlethe adventure of their team in Sunday’s (26/02) final English League Cup opposite to Manchester United in the “Wembley”. As she made it known through her placement on Twitterthe North East London Rail Association, next weekend alcohol will be banned on every journey from Newcastle to London.
The reaction of the fans was immediate with the “Football Supporter’s Association” to talk about an irrational decision, which targets a certain section of fans and can only have opposite results. As she characteristically stated in her tweet, fans are punished simply for being fans, for no other reason.
We’ve long been opposed to dry trains that target football fans for just being football fans on a day out.
This move from LNER for the League Cup final won’t achieve much & has completely misread the mood amongst #NUFC fans, which will be celebratory regardless. https://t.co/D2M3FXciY4

The North East London Train Union hastened to give its own version with a new tweet which emphasizes that any decision is taken with the sole purpose of protecting the safety of all passengers whether they come to the London for the final, or for any other reason. At the same time, he points out that in consultation with the competent Authority, the presence of the police will be increased both inside and outside the carriages.
We are working closely with @BTP to support fans traveling for the Carabao Cup. For the comfort and safety of all customers and colleagues, a number of services will be ‘dry trains’. This will apply to four services from London King’s Cross on 26 Feb. https://t.co/hon4Mjip53 https://t.co/PWFDrKyYpi

It is reminded that the “magpies” return to “Wembley” after 1999, while the last time they celebrated was the distant 1955 in the final of FA Cup against Manchester City’s other team. The thirst in the world is huge and its fans Newcastle are preparing to make a thunderous presence, traveling en masse to the English capital.
