The National Athletics Team is ready for the European Championships in Istanbul, March 2-5. SEGAS announced on Wednesday the 19-member delegation that will participate in the Turkish city event and it consists of athletes who are favorites to win a medal.
Namely, Miltos Tentoglou in the long jump, Katerina Stefanidis, Nicole Kyriakopoulou, Emmanuel Karalis in the pole vault, Irini Vassiliou in the 400 meters and Elisavet Pesirisou in the 60 meters hurdles.
The team will leave for Istanbul next Tuesday morning and will return to Athens on 3/6.
Kostas Douvalidis and Andrianna Ferra joined the mission at the last moment due to ranking.
