Koutsias took the… bite from Lamia’s mouth!

His future will probably find him abroad and in the USbut the George Koutsias gave the point of the tie to Volos equalizing Lamia 1-1 at the end!

Superior for the longest part of the match, the guests found the net with the unlucky scorer (as he was injured afterwards) Chilouli but they saw a defensive passivity deny them a huge double.

The point sent the hosts to +2 from Aris, with Leonidas Vokolou’s side on the other hand catching Levadeiakos in 13th place in the Stoiximan Super League standings.

The match

Although the first good moment belonged to Volos, with Gagi’s shot in the 4th minute going wide, the rest belonged almost exclusively to the guests. Finally, at 38th minute the supremacy of Lamia turned into a goal, with Chilouli to steal the ball just below the cross, empty two defenders and send the ball into Kleiman’s left corner with a powerful shot!

Sieli’s header in the 43′ didn’t trouble Garavelis, with Abada having a strong, long shot in the 45′ that was saved by the Volos keeper.

The second half started with a Deletic free kick that didn’t particularly worry Garavelis, who easily blocked in the 48th minute, with Kleiman impressively saving Simon’s side shot in the 50th minute to keep it 1-0.

The hosts then had the initiative of the movements but were unable to threaten, despite winning plenty of fouls outside the area. Finally, one of them in the 85′ he brought… out of nowhere the equalizer!

Abada’s poor reaction after Gaggi’s cross and Escoval’s header put the ball in the Boxeswho from contact simply pushed the ball into the Lamia net.

MVP: Leading but also unlucky o Sotiris Tsiloulis, who left injured in the second half. The Lamia striker scored an excellent goal and was generally very good, which is why he takes the title of the best from Koutsia – who, apart from the goal, had nothing else of note.
