OPAP Arena is a candidate for the Stadium of the Year 2022 Award! AEK’s new stadium has been nominated in this big international vote, along with 35 other stadiums from around the world, and it is waiting for AEK’s friends and all Greek fans to support its candidacy.
The Stadium of the Year competition is a public vote that has taken place every year since 2011 and voters choose the best stadium, in their opinion, that opened in the previous year. The award is the largest public vote of its kind worldwide. Since the first edition began, a total of more than 400,000 valid votes have been counted.
The award will be determined by an online vote open to everyone, but limited to one vote per device. To take part, one must select five pitches, giving 5 stars to the best, 4 stars to the second best, 3 stars to the third, 2 stars to the fourth and 1 star to the fifth most interesting. The platform will be open until March 15.
