Born in Serbia on 06/02/1984, Katarina Tomasevic plays as a goalkeeper and is 179cm tall.
She is an athlete with a rich career, competing in the top European championships, with participation in the top European inter-club and national competitions, and full of “palmare”.
She started her career with the Austrian side, Hypo Niederosterreich, in the 2006-07 season, with which she won the championship, while also playing in the EHF Champions League.
Then followed a two-year stint (2007-2009) at Team Esbjerg, from Denmark, remaining at the top level.
In the 2009-10 season he played in Spain with Bera Bera, followed by two seasons in RK Zajecar (2010-12), from Serbia, with which he won two “doubles”, while reaching the “8” of the EHF Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup.
In the 2012-13 season she played in Germany with Thuringer HC, with whom she won the Bundesliga championship, the German cup, while also competing in the EHF Champions League, then reaching the “4” of the EHF Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup.
Next stop (2013-14) was the French club Les Neptunes de Nantes, while a three-year stint (2014-17) followed at the Hungarian Ferencvarosi TC, with which he competed in the EHF Champions League.
A resident of Hungary, he remained until the middle of this season, playing for Dunaujvarosi Kohasz KA (2017-19) and Szombathelyi KKA (2019-22).
He is an international with the Serbian National Team, with whom he has over 100 caps, the highlight being the silver medal at the World Championships in 2013.
Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Katarina Tomasevic stated on the Association’s official website, acpaok.gr:
