Pique’s explanation for the infamous photo with Ibrahimovic

For the first time, Gerard Pique publicly commented on the photo that shows him in a… tender moment with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the parking lot of Barcelona.

The former Blaugrana centre-back spoke to ‘Ibai Llanos’, a Kings League Twitch show, and revealed his own truth about the incident.

“In that photo we are in the club car park. There’s my car and the media. I could kiss Zlatan, but not in the club car park. The photo is completely out of context. Best of all, was Zlatan’s reaction,” was his comment.

For his part, Ibrahimovic, when asked about the incident at the time, appeared irritated and replied to a reporter when asked if I was gay: “No, no, you and your sister come home now and I’ll prove that I’m not gay.”
