His own message on the occasion women’s Day wanted to send the Panhellenic Association of Paid Football Players.
So on the day of International Women’s Day, Mr PSAPP sent his message for her equality of both sexes in the field of football, also publishing a video of the friendly game which was organized, in which mixed teams with active footballers participated.
The PSAPP message in detail:
March 8, International Women’s Day.
Football has no gender. Football is one and it is played by people. It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, as long as you love it. This is the only condition, or rather it should be. But it isn’t.
In Greece, while worldwide women’s football is developing at a dizzying pace, filling the biggest European and not only stadiums with people, we still call it women’s football, giving it a biological identity as if it is another sport, different from the one they play men.
!And it’s not just the way we say it but it’s also the way we deal with it. Like it doesn’t exist. Like it’s something inferior. Everything is inferior for the women, the girls who chose to play football in Greece. But they are neither inferior, nor what they play is something different.
This equality in football is what PSAPP envisions and tries to achieve, which is why it organized at the Winners Club in Halandri a friendly of mixed teams, made up of men and women, active footballers and female footballers, who played and shouted for one word, EQUALITY .
Haroula Dimitriou, Alexandra Kotsibeli, Antonia Nika, Phaedra Lagou, Matoula Pythoula, Marianna Katopodi, Giorgos Masouras, Lefteris Houtesiotis, Yiannis-Phibos Botos, Dimitris Hatziisaias, Andreas Tetei and Alexandros Parras participated in the PSAPP friendly. The referee is Chrysoula Kourobilia”.
