Gary Lineker: BBC put him on ‘ice’ and he went to see Leicester-Chelsea

by

There has been a great uproar in the last two days in England and in the Premier League, regarding his decision BBC to make him available Gary Lineker.

The veteran striker, who presents the highly successful show “Match Of The Day” on the BBC channel for more than 24 years, he entered the “refrigerator” from the television channel because of his harsh criticism of the British government’s immigration policy.

A decision that seems to have sparked a storm of reaction in British football, as both Ian Wright and Alan Shearer decided not to appear on today’s show, supporting practically their co-presenter. In fact, the footballers also stand by the 62-year-old presenter, as the representative of the footballers will not make statements of the athletes after the end of the games.

In the midst of all this, Gary Lineker, however, shows that he has the necessary composure, as he decided to be at the “King Power Stadium” to watch live the home match of Leicester with the Chelseaas part of the 27th matchday of the Premier League.
