Rishi Sunak: “I appreciate Lineker, not everyone can agree with our decisions”

by

The evil destruction that has broken out on the Island will not stop, with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak to be placed after the uproar caused by the BBC’s decision to suspend veteran footballer and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker over his social media comments in which he criticized the government’s immigration policy.

The wave of support both from the football public and from the society of Great Britain in general seems to have shaken the British government as well, with the prime minister Rishi Sunak to be quick to stress that he appreciates Gary Lineker and his views, making it clear however that not everyone can agree with the government’s decisions.

What the British Prime Minister mentioned in the middle of his homeland:

“I have immense respect for Gary Lineker both as a veteran footballer and as a presenter, but I think this is an ideal opportunity to break the cycle of misery once and for all and I believe that with the new government measures we can achieve this. I hope that the issue that has arisen between Lineker and the BBC can be resolved quickly, but it is not something that is or was about the government personally. I understand that not everyone will agree with our policy, but I believe it is fair and appropriate.”

It is recalled that the former striker of Arsenal, Everton and Barcelona had exercised through a tweet on his personal account the government’s bill, which provides that those immigrants who enter the country illegally are not entitled to asylum, to be deported and lose the right to return to UK for life.
