“Cleaned up” Belgium and the men’s national handball team is preparing for the European Championship

In a dramatic way, the National Men’s Handball Team defeated Belgium 26-24 in the closed hall of Chalkida, took their second win against this particular opponent, this time for the fourth matchday of the qualifiers and approached the second privileged position leading to the finals of the tournament .

Despite the bad start, where they found themselves losing by 5 goals (5-10, 6-10) in the 21st minute, the National team found the solutions and overturned the match before closing the half (13-12) with a 5-0 run in 25′.

The second half was also inconclusive, with the Belgians leading 15-16 in the 38th minute, but the National team again had an excellent period, where they turned 19-19 into 23-19 (49th minute). The last quarter was very competitive, with the Belgians equalizing 23-23 (55′), however with two goals by Toska and one by Kederis the representative group reached the final 26-24.
