The Bucks, who were asked to play without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday in Detroit, showed character in the difficult times, but eventually prevailed (126-117) over the Pistons.
The focal points were Chris Middleton and Brook Lopez, who deservedly filled the gap of the Greek superstar, with the former carrying the weight in scoring as well. Specifically, Middleton scored 34 points (12/16 two-pointers, 1/7 three-pointers, 7/8 shots), collected 8 rebounds and handed out 5 assists.
Lopez, in turn, had a double-double with 24 and 14 rebounds, while Portis also had double figures with 21 (3/7 three-pointers and 14 rebounds) and Carter 22 (6/7 three-pointers).
Dragic made his Milwaukee debut, played 9 minutes, had two missed shots and dished out 3 assists. Thanasis Antetokounmpo played for a minute, adding 2 points with a powerful dunk.
