Although he is still in the headlines this year, the Bavarians have already started to strategize their moves for the coming summer, and according to reports they have circled the name of Mateo Kovacic.
The Croatian midfielder has worked with Tuchel at Chelsea, and the German has held him in very high regard ever since. His contract with them Londoners it ends in the summer of 2024, so perhaps the Blues would enter the coming transfer window in the process of selling him, so that they don’t lose him later on as a free agent.
