Bohorides: “We are not thinking about the previous games, to get the victory through our defense”

The sixth “eternal” derby of the year is just around the corner, as o Olympic will host on Friday (31/3, 21:30) the Panathinaikos for its 32nd game Euroleague.

Ahead of the match, Mr Lefteris Bohorides he focused on the fact that the “greens” should not have in mind the 12 consecutive defeats they have against their great rival, but also on the importance of their defensive presence.

His statements in detail:

For the game against Olympiakos: “I have answered this in the past and I will repeat that when we enter the game we do not think about it. Every game is special, we don’t mind the previous ones. We are playing on a tough home ground against a very good team and we want to show from the start that we will play with energy and through our defense get the victory.”

On the team’s lack of stability: “Sure, we don’t have stability. We want to finally have two good games in a row. Now, as to how this can be resolved, we are not to mince words. We want to enter the field properly”.

On whether a derby win can erase the team’s image during the season: “We cannot delete them. We’ve had enough bad games that are there. All we can do is look forward. We have the most important goal in front of us. From now on, we want to show a different image in all games, both against Olympiakos and in general. We have had some defeats, especially in the Greek league, which are unacceptable and we want to change that.”
