Ready to give everything against Panathinaikos and claim the second consecutive Cup, is PAOK according to its captain Yannis Takouridis.
The 35-year-old center of the “bicephalus of the north” with his statements in the established Press conferenceunderlined that his team fully respects Panathinaikos, but has a great opportunity to claim another trophy, in a big match.
Among others, Yiannis Takouridis referred to Kalamatain which this year’s event is hosted, while he wished the local team to return to the Volley League.

“First of all, let’s thank the city of Kalamata for the hospitality, it seems like a city that embraces volleyball. They have a team that is aiming for promotion to the Volley League, and we wish them to make it happen.
We are happy to be in the Final-4 of the institution, this is the ninth consecutive time that PAOK participates in a Final-4, and in the last three events they were the trophy winners. We are now given the opportunity to claim one more.
Panathinaikos is a team we have played against many times, it is a very good team, with a good coach and players. Panathinaikos beat us five times in a row, but we won the last two times. Whoever wins will do so on their merits.
We will look to play our best game, respecting Panathinaikos. We will give everything to win the trophy”.
