With Sarlia crossing vertically into the area Mancini found Cerin, who couldn’t beat Kleiman four-on-four, in the 23rd minute. The second half was a continuation of the first, with Panathinaikos patiently trying to find the right moment to score, against the very well-organized and disciplined team of Magnesia, which continued to play -and- with time.

The difference was that this time the “clover” did not have the phases to become threatening, as in the first 45 minutes, with the exception of a “promising” phase with Ioannidis, in the 49′.

Seeing the 0-0 hold after an hour of play, Ivan Jovanovic decided to freshen up his team, bringing on Sporar and Kleinheisler.
