Terzis: “We are ready, Panathinaikos has the pressure”

THE Mars welcomes on Wednesday evening (05/04, 19:30) the Panathinaikos in “Kl. Vikelidis”, in the context of the 3rd matchday of the Stoiximan Super League playoffs.

With his statements to Nova’s camera, Aris’ coach, Apostolos Terzis, referred to the team’s high morale after the score in Faliro against Olympiakos, stressing among other things that the pressure he is in the “camp” of the “greens”.

For team psychology: “The situation is very good after the result we got against Olympiakos. Our morale has risen to a high level and we are very happy with the way we got the grade, which is valuable for the future.

Also, we have in mind the management we have to do, to be ready for the next one as well, as there are three very strong games (including against Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and AEK) in a row and we have to be fresh, because everything is high pressure. Especially with Panathinaikos, however, apart from the psychological field, we will also be good in the competitive field, precisely because we managed our forces well in the previous match”.

For the game against Panathinaikos: “We know Panathinaikos well. They are a very good team, with an excellent coach. We need to impose our pace and our thinking on the pitch. We must not allow the enemy to do these things. Panathinaikos has the pressure, because it did not have a good result in its previous game. But that’s his problem. We are ready. The boys know what we expect from them on the field and we hope that our people will help us to reach victory. We know what Panathinaikos’ strengths are. He has fast players in front and that needs attention from our side. From there, we have to create opportunities and turn them into goals.”
