Marinakis puts an end to the rumours: Cooper is staying in Nottingham

End of the rumors that want him Steve Cooper to be past from Nottingham Forest put o Vangelis Marinakis.

The strong man of the club made it clear in his written statement that there will be no change on the bench, however he asked for a rally in view of the difficult continuation, in order for the team to achieve the goal of staying in the Premier League.

In detail, his statement:

“No one is denying that the club is in a difficult position in the Premier League, but we would like to put an end to the theories and false and divisive reportsconfirming that Steve Cooper will remain as Nottingham Forest manager.

We are all disappointed with recent performances and it is clear that a lot of work is needed. Results and performances must improve immediately.

Now is the time for everyone to join the team. From us, as owners, to the board, fans, staff, coaches and players –let’s become one and fight to secure our place in the Premier League.

There is no time for distractions, rumors and assumptions. There is only time for work, determination, dedication from Steve and the players in getting the results we need and, of course, for the fantastic support from the fans of Nottingham Forest”.
