“To end the immunity of politicians, to end the impunity for crimes and misdemeanors such as those that led to the mass murder of the Tempes” requested from Larisa at noon on Wednesday the lawyer Zoe Konstantopoulou, who together with the Professor of Criminal Law at Panteion University of Athens, Mr. Dimitris Ziouva, have undertaken the legal representation of the family of one of the victims of the Tempe, 19-year-old Marthis Psaropoulos.

The mother of the unfortunate 19-year-old, Mrs. Maria Karystianou, was with them at the Larissa Courthouse.

Mrs. Konstantopoulou also stated that “Marthi did not have time to turn 20 years old. We are here to see that the criminal behavior of politicians, governments, state and service actors, the criminal acts and omissions that ultimately lead to the loss of human life and so many of our fellow human beings and so many young children, will come to an end… Martha’s mother is determined to fight this fight to the end…”

For her part, Mrs. Karystianou said that “despite our mourning and mourning, we have done many things. We have also started the referendum on the lifting of parliamentary immunity. We want the punishment of those responsible. Let’s not only deal with the latter but also with the former.”

The Professor of Criminal Law at the Panteion University of Athens, Mr. Dimitris Ziouvas, said, among other things, that “we knew that corruption kills development, it kills Democracy. On the night of February 28, he killed 57 of our fellow human beings. We are here to support the charge, a charge that must seek criminal responsibilities both for the actions of the fatal station master and any of his colleagues, but also for omissions higher up than the station master, in the administrations of OSE, Hellenic Train, the Railway Regulatory Authority, to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for omissions that have been going on for many years and have cumulatively, multiple and jointly led to the killing of these children.”
