In a noteworthy move, Mr PSAPP who organized a mini voluntary blood donation in order to honor the memory of the unfortunate Jordan Adamakiswho died in the accident at Tempe.
His players attended the voluntary blood donation Panathinaikouof Olympiakos and of AEK. For the “greens” there were Giorgos Vagiannidis and Yannis KotsirasSimos Mitoglou and Vassilis Hadjiemmanouil for AEK and the Marios Vrousai and his Thanasis Androutsos Olympiakou.
At the same time, the six football players sent a message in favor of voluntary blood donation.

“Time “froze” on the evening of February 28, when the Tempe tragedy plunged the entire country into mourning.
In the long, unfortunately, list of those who left us so unjustly was Iordanis Adamakis, our own Iordanis, a member of PSAPP at just 22 years old.
In the first hours of the tragic event, society showed us again that it knows how to stand in solidarity. The image of thousands of our fellow human beings eagerly waiting to donate blood, supporting the dozens of wounded in practice, revived our hope for a better tomorrow.
We want and must keep Jordan’s memory alive through our actions.
The need for blood is permanent, so take out the permanent ticket with the voluntary blood donation because once is not enough.

Gerasimos Mitoglou, Vassilis Hadjiemmanouil of AEK, Thanasis Androutsos, Marios Vrousai of Olympiakos and Giorgos Vagiannidis, Yiannis Kotsiras of Panathinaikos responded to our call and in collaboration with the National Blood Donation Center we sent the “message” that football can capture images that will remain etched in memory forever. Today we all play in the same team wearing the same shirt, that of the voluntary blood donor.
