Pegasos “cleaned” Athlos and remained in the Volley League

Pegasus will be in the big “living rooms” of the men’s Volley League in the new season as well. The Polichni team defeated Athlos Orestiadas in Thessaloniki 3-1 in the third game of the play outs and secured their presence in the big division three games before the final, leaving Akrites and OFI to duel for the second privileged position.

Pegasus played a more controlled volley, with solid reception and far fewer mistakes than Athlos. They were the team that knew what they wanted on the field and this was reflected when the score became 1-1 sets.

On the contrary, the Orestiada team, despite being more effective in the service (scored 13 aces against Pegasus’ 9), caused a lot of stress, easily made mistakes in the reception and aggressively, Albo and Genov hardly won the points.
