A few words about George Toptsis …
George Toptsis was born on February 6, 1958 in Nigrita, Serres. He managed to excel in five consecutive Paralympic Games, in the long jump and the triple jump. In Barcelona in 1992 he was second, while both in 1988 in Seoul and in 1996 in Atlanta he was ranked 3rd. At the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney he won 5th place in the triple jump, while at the Athens Games he won 8th place in the same event.
