Budenholzer: “We are looking at Giannis’ situation. We are waiting for what the doctors and he will say”

THE Mike Budenholzer had no update on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s condition after the Bucks’ loss to the Heat in their first playoff game. The Milwaukee superstar was wounded in the waist in a nasty fall with 1:46 left in the first period and although he tried to come back in the second, he left the game for good with 8:33 left in the half.

“We will monitor his condition and see how he wakes up on Monday. He wasn’t moving well after his injury, he didn’t look comfortable and we felt it was the right thing to keep him out” said the Bucks coach and added: “We will have to wait and see what the doctors will say and most importantly what Giannis himself will say. We are certainly blessed that Giannis is so resilient and coming back quickly from injuries, but we will have to go day by day to see how he is and how he feels».
