From that point on, the tempo of the match rose sharply, as the Thessaloniki team was highly effective in shooting outside 6.75m, while on the other hand Bartzoka’s team kept their attacking tempo at the same levels and that’s how it went in the locker room with +17 (53-36).

From that point on, the “red and white” were in control, with the “yellow” being held by Toliopoulos and Kavvadas, but the Piraeus team ending the third period at +19 (73-54).
With forwards Larentzakis and Boloboi, Olympiacos went to +22 (80-78), at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Since then, Aris was left with… forces, with the “red and white” completely controlling the match and with polyphony in the attack going to +26 (93-67) and taking the victory with the final 97-73.
