Unstoppable Feyenoord, aiming for the title

by

Feyenoord continue their journey to the title unbroken, beating Utrecht 3-1 in the 30th matchday of the Eredivisie.

Despite a grueling game against Roma in midweek, which was decided in extra time, Arn Slott’s side confirmed their supremacy and continue on +8 from Eindhoven with four games to go.

Utrecht, on the other hand, who struggled with Vassilis Barkas in goal and Tasos Douvikas at the top of the attack, remained in seventh place, in the places leading to the playoffs for a place in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Szymanski opened the scoring in the 15th minute, with a strong shot, while Jimenez doubled the goals in the 54th minute. Initially, he warned in the 51st minute with a shot that went just outside the right post and three minutes later he took the rebound from Barca’s intervention and made it 2-0.

In the 66th minute, Douvikas had a great opportunity to reduce the score, which he missed, while in the 82nd minute, Jahanbaks made the final 3-0 with a fantastic shot. Dost made the final 3-1 in the 89th minute.
