Destruction in Belgium: Genk and Saint-Jiloise at the top and now… playoffs!

The 34th and last matchday in the Belgian championship ended in an exciting way, with the Genk and Saint Ziloise to tie at the top, after the first game at the home of Charleroi (2-2) and now the playoffs follow.

Mackenzie put Genk ahead in just the 2nd minute, but Ebenza equalized in the 3rd to make it 1-1. Lang gave his team the lead again in the 42nd minute, but in the 51st minute Nkuba made the 2-2, which was also the final score.

On the other hand, Saint-Jiloise, which last year lost the championship in the playoffs to Genk, passed with 4-2 from the headquarters of Kortrijk and it also reached 75 points.

In the 16th minute, Terho gave the visitors the lead, with Silva making it 1-1 in the 24th minute. In the 38th minute, Daene gave his team the lead, with 2-1 being the score with which the two teams went into the break. However, Saint-Gilleois equalized in the 67th minute through a Watanabe own goal, with Terjo completing the upset for his side in the 72nd minute. Andingra put the icing on the cake in the 84th minute, making the final 4-2.
