“We played against the leader of the league. Panathinaikos was very lucky, we deserved the win more, but in the end we didn’t get what we deserved. We created a lot more chances with the way we played. We created chances at 0-0, 0-1 and 1-1. Panathinaikos created less than us. He was lucky, while we were naive.
We showed in the last minutes that we had the physical condition to cope. The way Panathinaikos defended in the final minutes does not represent their position in the standings. Our appearance today reflects our overall image this year. We played good football and had intensity in our game. We missed some situations with which we could have created even more phases for goals. On the other side, Panathinaikos created few chances, managing to get the victory”.
