Obradovic: “My motivation is for Partizan to go to the Final 4”

In her first appearance in Euroleague after nine years, the Partisan have an excellent season, earning a ticket to the playoffs of the organization!

His team Zelimir Obradovic ended in 6th place of the leaderboard with a record of 20-14, as a result of which she faced the Real Madrid, in the battle for qualification to the semi-finals of the institution.

For the upcoming duels with the Madrilenians, starting from tomorrow’s match in “WiZink Center” (25/04, 21:45), the Serbian coach was mentioned, stressing among other things that Real may remain favourites, however, Partizan’s goal is to qualify for the Final 4!

Zelimir Obradovic’s statements in detail:



For the first game against Real: “I expect that Game 1 of the playoffs will be different compared to the previous games we played against Real. They will try to adapt to the way we organize our attacks. Regardless of who will be on the court, Real Madrid will always be the favourites. The positive thing is that we are not facing any injury problems and we want to see what we can do in Madrid. I expect at least one interesting match”.

For Partizan’s game plan: “We are preparing as we would for any of our other games. We played recently and they know everything about us. Of course, when you analyze the previous games you draw conclusions about what needs to be changed. When we started talking about our defense in training I liked the reaction of the players. Some said they had to make decisions. In defensive tactics I like to discuss with my players. They came to propose something to me and I trust them.”

For the playoff series: “She is very important for Partizan. My players have a chance to understand what a playoff series means. I am interested in Partizan going to the Final Four. I couldn’t have been more motivated than that. We want to take the right steps and move forward.”
