Giannoulis: “I have one more year on my contract, I can’t wait to… put things in place”

For his presence in Norwich, but also about the image of the English team this season, spoke o Dimitris Giannoulis.

The Greek left back, who has made 25 appearances in all competitions, mentioned, among other things, that he has for a still contract year, while he added that he and his teammates wronged themselves, as they are in 12th place in the Championship, one matchday before the final.

His statements in detail:

“We are all sad and angry with ourselves because we know we are much better than we showed in the season. Now we have to play and win the last game for our fans. We let them down but we also let ourselves down. We tried hard.

First of all it’s the players’ fault, then the coaches and then everything else. It’s our fault and it’s a failure, of course, but we’ll try to make something out of it next season. Hopefully we will be much better than we showed this year.

Everyone in the team wants to go up, we want to play good football, so next year, we have to try even harder to achieve that.

I still have a year left on my contract, so I’m looking forward to being here next season and getting… things right.”
