Antetokounmpo third in the MVP voting, LeBron without a vote for the first time in his career!

THE Joel Embiid named MVP of the regular season in the NBA, bursting into tears when it was announced that he was this year’s winner.

In… ours, o John Antetokounmpo was, after all, third to journalists’ voting preferences. This was the 7th consecutive season, where Giannis was in the top 7 of the MVP candidates. As a reminder, he has two victories (2019 and 2020), a fourth place (2021), another third place (2022), a sixth place (2018) and a seventh place (2017).

Among the highlights of this year’s vote, the fact that lebron james didn’t get any votes this yearsomething that happens for the first time in his 21-year career!

From there, Luka Doncic finished in 8th place and Steph Curry in 8th, while the Knicks’ Jaylen Brunson and the Grizzlies’ Ja Morant also got a vote. The Kings, moreover, were the only team to have two players voted in by media representatives, with Domantas Sabonis coming in at No. 7 and De’Aaron Fox at No. 11.
