AEK – OLYMPIC
For the sixth time the two teams will meet this season, since so far they have met three for the championship and two for the Greek Cup. In total there are two wins for each opponent and the goalless draw at Karaiskakis Stadium in Round 1 of the championship.
The last two of the league, for the last game of the regular season and the first between them for the Stoiximan Playoffs ended with a 3-1 victory for the visiting team.
The last time AEK Olympiacos prevailed as the home team was on September 24, 2017 with a score of 3-2 and since then there have been eight matches, in which there have been five wins for the Reds and three draws.
AEK broke this season one of the longest negative streaks it had against Olympiakos, since it had not prevailed against it in any competition since February 7, 2018, when it prevailed 2-1 for the quarter-finals of the Greek Cup at home.
It took 16 matches to break the negative tradition in every competition this season, after winning 3-0 first for the Greek Cup and then for the league in the last game between them for the Stoximan Playoffs.
ARIS – VOLOS
The two teams have met a total of nine times in their history in both venues without a draw between them.
In the last two between them, Aris has won 3-0, while in the last five only one of the two has scored. In total, only in one of their nine games have both scored, in Volos – Aris 1-2 on November 7, 2021.
Volos has scored in only one of its seven matches in the process of the Stoiximan Playoffs and has only managed to do so in Thessaloniki with PAOK. On the other hand, Aris did not find a goal only in his home match against Panathinaikos, where he was defeated 1-0, while he has scored in the other six.
Their first meeting with home team Aris took place on December 19, 2019, with the Yellows winning 4-0 thanks to goals from Indeje and Gama, who scored two goals each.
PANATHINAIKOS – PAOK
Panathinaikos will host PAOK for the 75th time in the history of the A’ National/Super League.
The two teams will meet for the sixth time this season, after they also met in the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup. There are two wins for each opponent and one draw with 1-1, while PAOK is the only team that has managed to win at the home of Panathinaikos in this year’s championship.
The Greens prevailed in both away matches against PAOK, for the regular duration of the championship and the First Round of the Playoffs, but they have not won at home, having been defeated 3-0 for the Second Round of the championship and the Greek Cup match at Leoforo ended with 1-1.
PAOK is the only team to have scored in the process of the Stoiximan Playoffs, in the 2-1 of Thessaloniki, while Panathinaikos has kept its home field intact in six matches, with three clean draws and three wins without conceding a goal.
